The Scientific Society of Arab Nursing Faculties was established in October 1998. The office of the Nursing Dean at Al-Zaytoonah University, Amman, Jordan initiated its establishment from the Union General of Arab Universities to host the Scientific Society of Arab Nursing faculties at the Faculty of Nursing of Al-Zaytoonah University in Amman/Jordan on a permanent basis.
The Society has nearly of 112 members from various colleges of Nursing in Arab countries and the Society comprises of three committees: a Committee of Scientific Research and Development, Education Student training committee and Accreditation and Quality Assurance Committee which offers Annual awards to institutions and individuals with outstanding works and encourage student exchanges and the exchange of experiences between nursing faculties.
Professor Selva Titus Chacko Dean, CoN, GMU. UAE was invited to participate in its Annual meeting on May 9th, 2024, and contributed effectively in the various committee activities at the Al-Zaytoonah University.
