Accreditation and Ranking

Gulf Medical University and all of its programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), United Arab Emirates [Link].

College of Nursing at Gulf Medical University has been granted International Accreditation (Candidacy Status) by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for both its Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs. This candidacy status is in effect from November 17, 2025 through Fall 2027.

Gulf Medical University is ranked 77th out of 1,975 universities worldwide for “Quality Education.” It also ranks between 101–200 for “Reduced Inequalities” and 101–200 for “Health & Wellbeing,” according to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). [link]
