It was decided to commence Journal club for nurses at TUH on a regular basis as a Professional Development activity. Journal club was initiated on 13/09/2023 at 3.30-4.15 pm for TUH nurses. The first session was an Orientation to Journal club for the ward in-charges & and nurses. 42 TUH nurses, inclusive of ward in charges, staff & supervisors and Faculty attended the session. The guidelines for conducting a journal club were explained with two examples. A schedule will be followed by Faculty in consultation with Ward In-charges and staff based on the needs of the wards and Journal club will be conducted regularly.
