Dr. Raefa Abou Khouzam accepted an invitation from the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at AUS to give a seminar focusing on how she is applying the zebrafish model available at TRIPM in her research on pancreatic cancer. The talk took place on May 7, 2025, at the AUS campus and was attended by interested students and faculty. In her seminar, Dr. Raefa discussed the promising role of the zebrafish model in cancer research and presented her team’s findings on its application to investigate mono and combination therapy in pancreatic cancer xenografts. The seminar was interactive, well-received and brought to light potential lines of future collaboration.
