Ms. Premalatha Ragupathi

Ms. Premalatha Ragupathi graduated with top honors in Biomedical Sciences from Gulf Medical University in 2022 and earned her Master’s in Microbiology and Infection with distinction in 2024 from University of Birmingham, Dubai. Through her research projects, she developed a strong passion for molecular biology, and her experience in a DNA sequencing laboratory, where she analyzed cancer-related genetic variations using multi-omics approaches, deepened her interest in cancer research. She currently serves as a Research Assistant at Thumbay Research Institute for Precision Medicine (TRIPM), overseeing the Zebrafish facility, a vital platform for studying cancer cell metastasis and screening potential anti-cancer drugs under in vivo conditions. This facility is key to TRIPM research as it offers opportunities to study cancer cell metastasis and to screen anti-cancer drugs under in vivo conditions.
