Ms. Farhana Fathin

Ms. Farhana Fathin graduated with honors from Gulf Medical University in 2024, with a BSc in Biomedical Science (BBMS). She is recognized for her strong research background, leadership skills, and dedication. Farhana has gained extensive research experience through internships at Khalifa University where she worked on projects related to genetic susceptibility to osteoporosis; and at Thumbay Institute for Precision Medicine (TRIPM) where she worked as a student trainee gaining experience in essential molecular techniques. Beyond research, she is an active leader and mentor, serving as a peer tutor and the program supervisor for the Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) program in GMU and as an Assistant editor for the university newsletter (Mélange). Her ability to communicate complex scientific concepts and collaborate effectively has been instrumental in her academic and professional success. Passionate about developmental and reproductive biology, she aims to advance research in fertility science, regenerative medicine, and early developmental studies.
