Ms. Thushara Sekhar is a Lecturer at the College of Nursing, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman, and has been serving in this role since 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from SCS College of Nursing and a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing from KMCH College of Nursing, Coimbatore, India. Additionally, she completed her Master of Business Studies (MBS) from Dr. D.Y. Patil University, Pune.
Currently she is a PhD scholar and has chosen to focus her doctoral research on innovations in quality improvement in hospitals—an area that aligns closely with her academic interests and professional goals.
She is passionate about enhancing healthcare systems through evidence-based practices and continuously seeks to integrate innovative strategies that contribute to improving patient outcomes. Her academic journey and ongoing research reflect her commitment to excellence in nursing education, healthcare quality and patient care.
