Ms. Thushara Sekhar has over 16 years of experience mostly as Nurse educator in the hospitals. She started her career in teaching as Assistant Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in India. She has served in Ministry of Health, Kuwait as Clinical Nurse Educator for 8 years and she has also worked as Nurse Educator for 5 years in Thumbay Hospital, Ajman, UAE.
Fuelled by passion for understanding the nuances of quality improvement in healthcare, she has participated as an active member in Quality Improvement Projects like Plan Do Study Act(PDSA). She also has deep interest in the application of Information Technology in the field of Nursing. She is a member of Emirates Nurses Association since 2018. She was a key organiser and speaker in the ‘Conference on Nursing Leadership’ in 2019, UAE.
