Dr. Noha Kamal is an Associate Professor of Clinical and Chemical Pathology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University (GMU), where she has been serving since 2017. She was appointed as the Program Director of the Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences (MSc-MLS) in July 2019.

Dr. Noha earned her MBBS degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, in 2003, followed by a Master’s degree (2009) and a Doctoral degree (2016) in Clinical and Chemical Pathology from the same institution.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Dr. Noha has a keen interest in integrating innovative educational technologies into medical education and evaluating their impact on students and faculty. Since 2017, she has coordinated the Virtual Patient Learning (VPL) initiative at GMU and has conducted numerous workshops on VPL in different medical schools. She continues to lead and collaborate on several ongoing research projects in this area.

Dr. Noha is a supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research projects. She has several publications in various international and national indexed journals, and her research focuses on liver diseases, haematology, and medical education, with multiple publications in these fields.
