MD Program

• The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program received Accreditation by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Education (MOE), UAE on April 19, 2022.
• The MD degree awarded by Gulf Medical University is recognized by all health regulatory authorities in UAE. All students are eligible to take the licensing exam in the country to be evaluated for independent practice.
• The MD program Learning Outcomes is aligned to the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) Quality Standards 2015.
• The medical program offered by GMU College of Medicine is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. [link]
• Our medical graduates are eligible to take licensing examinations like USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), FMG (India), PMDC (Pakistan), MOH in GCC countries, etc.

• The BBMS program meets the eligibility requirements of the American Society Clinical Pathologist International (ASCPi) Board of Certification, USA for International Medical Laboratory Scientist, Technician and Technologist in Molecular Biology Routes. [Link]

• The Master in Public Health (MPH) program received Accreditation by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), Ministry of Education (MOE), UAE in May 25, 2021. [link]
• MPH Program Learning Outcomes are aligned to the Council for Education in Public Health (CEPH) Quality Standards, USA.
• The MPH program is offered in collaboration with the University of Arizona which is ranked among the top 1% of the universities worldwide by QS World Rankings 2018.
