Dr. Masani Abdelbagi Ahmed Elmahdy is having 13 years of teaching experience in UG & PG nursing students. She has graduated from University of Khartoum, Faculty of Nursing Sciences and was awarded by the University for best academic performance many times during her undergraduate years.

Dr. Masani is interested in Women’s Health and Welfare. She has participated as external examiner for final year nursing students. She was involved in the development, revision and update of the nursing curriculum in many governmental and private nursing colleges in Sudan. She also participated in the development of Nurse’s licensure examination for Sudan National Council for Medical and Health Professionals. She has been working as Head of Department in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing Department at University of Khartoum for about 2 years. She was also a member of nursing research committee besides other committees in the area of work. She is a Post-Graduate Guide in research for both PhD, Master, and undergraduate students in Nursing. In addition to her academic pursuits, she actively engaged in clinical teaching activities.

Dr. Masani was awarded as the Best Academic Performer in Surgical Nursing Specialty, Pediatric Nursing, Community Nursing Speciality and Obstetrical & Gynaecology Nursing Specialty in the Faculty of Nursing Sciences, University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2008 and 2010. She was also awarded as the second – Best Academic Performer by the Faculty of Nursing Sciences, University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2009.
