On November 17, 2020, Rachel Koenig, Research and Education Librarian, Liaison to the School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), conducted a class on PubMed search to Master in Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) students at College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University. This class was part of a collaborative partnership between both institutions.
Rachel has her research interests include the professionalization of librarianship, the history of medicine and pharmacy, and the scholarship of teaching, learning, and assessment.
Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Sherief Khalifa said GMU is proud of its collaboration with VCU. Evaluating the quality of evidence and applying that in practice, is essential for pharmacists and all healthcare professionals.
