Experiential education is a major component of Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (DPT) Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Master in Clinical Pharmacy (MCP), Postgraduate PharmD, and Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacy Research programs.
In addition to GMU’s campus hospitals, Thumbay University Hospital, Thumbay Hospital Ajman and Thumbay Hospital Fujairah, Thumbay Clinics, and Thumbay Pharmacies, GMU College of Pharmacy students undergo training in many other hospitals, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical industries in private and public sectors across the UAE and abroad.
GMU College of Pharmacy students perform early clinical exposure, introductory pharmacy practice experience, professional practice experience, advanced pharmacy practice experience, and internship, giving them a well-rounded practice experience. We value our partners in experiential education, making pharmacy graduates practice ready.
The College assures transformational training with our experienced and well-qualified preceptors across practice sites. The College uses over 100 practice sites, including chain pharmacies, to provide students with options for choosing sites near where they live in the UAE.
