In February 2023, Dr. Khalifa, Vice Chancellor for Quality and Institutional Effectiveness and Dean, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University was appointed as the Chair of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) International Commission (IC).
Dr. Khalifa commented “It is both an honor and a privilege to serve with a group of pharmacy academicians who are dedicated to advancing quality in pharmacy education around the globe. Spreading the culture of quality will certainly lead to graduating competent pharmacists who are better able to serve their patients wherever they are”.
