Pharmacy Students’ Publication on Evidence-based Practice

On June 30, 2021, PharmD students (Saba, Afifa and Fawaz) published a systematic review of recent literature in Journal of Education and health Promotion, indexed in SCOPUS, PubMed and other databases. This article highlights the medication error trends and the impact of healthcare services in prevention of drug related problems in the Middle eastern region. The students conducted this research under the supervision of dr. Syed Wasif Gillani. The article is an example of generating evidence for practice which is a key role of clinical pharmacists. Our PharmD students at GMU continue to show enthusiasm towards scientific writing, publication and professional development. The research opportunities in the college of pharmacy encourage all students to participate in scholarly activities.
