Orientation of BPharm Program – Class of 2028-2029

On August 29, 2024, the College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University proudly welcomed the incoming Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) students during the orientation event for the Class of 2028-2029. This event marked the beginning of a transformative academic journey for the new students, setting the stage for their future in the pharmacy profession.

The orientation was meticulously organized by the College of Pharmacy’s esteemed faculty and staff, ensuring a warm and informative introduction to the program. The day began with an inspiring address by Professor Muhammad Al Shorbagy, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, who extended a warm welcome to the students. Professor Al Shorbagy emphasized the program’s rigorous curriculum, the importance of ethics and professionalism in pharmacy, and the exciting opportunities that await them in the healthcare sector.

Following the Dean’s address, faculty members delivered comprehensive presentations on the curriculum, student support services, and the advanced resources available, including library facilities and online learning platforms. These sessions aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in the BPharm program.

The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&A session, providing students with the opportunity to engage with faculty and peers, followed by a campus tour. This tour offered a glimpse into the state-of-the-art facilities that will support their academic and professional growth throughout their time at Gulf Medical University.
