On October 5, Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice-Chancellor Quality and Global Engagement, and Dr. Ibrahim Elsayed, Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness, participated as speakers in the panel discussion organized by the World Assessment Council (https://worldassessmentcouncil.org/).

The discussion covered three main themes:
- ‘Teachers at the heart of education recovery’: This session covered the effect that the pandemic had on the teaching profession and aimed to establish the steps that need to be taken to ensure that teachers develop their full potential.
- ‘Barriers to change in digital transformation’: This session dug deeper the barriers to digital change and how those can be addressed.
- ‘Educator happiness at the core of learning’: This session explored what it takes to ensure Educator Bliss because happy educators mean a happier world.
The panel consisted of 48 Vice Chancellors, Deans, Professors, EdTech Enthusiasts and Passionate Educators from more than 12 countries all over the world.
