On January 20th, 2024, Gulf Medical University (GMU) celebrated the accomplishments of its alumni at the Annual Alumni Summit 2024. This event served as a significant platform for graduates to share their stories of success, challenges, guidance, and insights, providing inspiration for future endeavors and highlighting the diverse talents of GMU alumni.
From the College of Pharmacy, the following alumni were honored for their achievements:
- Research: Dalia Al Saeedy, PharmD graduate 2020, Master of Drug Discovery and Development graduate 2023, and current PhD student at Virginia Commonwealth University, USA
- Leadership: Maryam Abdulnoor Alrais, Master of Clinical Pharmacy graduate 2021, and current Regulatory Pharmacist at the Drug Department, Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE
- Community service: Samiullah Shabbir, PharmD graduate 2016, and current Master of Drug Discovery and Development candidate and Teaching assistant at College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University
