GMU’s Dr. Juny Sebastian Attends the International Pharmacy Federation (FIP) event on the role of Pharmacy technician workforce

On March 1, 2023, Dr. Juny Sebastian, Assistant Professor, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University attended an International Pharmacy Federation (FIP) webinar focusing on supporting the pharmacy technician workforce across the globe. The virtual event brought together a panel of global experts to discuss the roles of pharmacy technicians in different countries, with a particular focus on Canada and Singapore. The discussions during the webinar provided valuable insights into how different countries are addressing the challenges faced by their pharmacy technician workforce. Experts highlighted the importance of regulatory and competency frameworks to ensure that Pharmacy technicians are able to work effectively and safely.
