On Friday 24th December 2021, College of Pharmacy students worked with Al Zamalek General Contracting Company and Thumbay University Hospital to deliver free health assessment and counselling. The health assessment consisted of Blood Pressure check-up, BMI assessment, Best Medical and Medication History, and Health Assessment of Employees with personalized counselling.
Mr. Adhnan Abdul Shabeek, Fourth year PharmD student commented,
“It was our pleasure to interact with the community and provide our service along with our licensed supervisors. It was one of the best works we have done under the community engagement and outreach program. We had the opportunity to spend our Friday weekend break educating the labourers about their health and their diet. I really enjoyed it a lot personally and I am looking forward for more of this in the future where we can make an impact on the community.”
