On Friday, May 26th, Gulf Medical University’s College of Pharmacy welcomed distinguished guests from AbbVie Biopharmaceuticals. The delegate delivered a career workshop on: Career Boost: Hands-On Training by AbbVie Experts for CV Writing and LinkedIn Profile Building.

The workshop facilitators included: Dr. Marina Elisha Bekheet, Talent Acquisition Manager Middle East & Africa; Ms. Mariyam Siddiqui, Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, Middle East & Africa; and Mr. Emad Hafez, Juvederm Brand Lead, GCC Allergan Aesthetics.
The speakers shared valuable tips for crafting effective CVs and developing strong LinkedIn profiles. They emphasized the importance of highlighting key skills and experiences while avoiding common pitfalls for young applicants.

The session went beyond theoretical advice to include a review of the students’ CVs and LinkedIn profiles, offering personalized feedback and valuable comments.
Dr. Muhammed Abdullatif, Director of the Student Happiness Center at the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, expressed his sincere appreciation for the exceptional dedication and passion demonstrated by the AbbVie team in delivering the workshop sessions.
