On 19th and 23rd January 2023, Fathima Sheik Kather and KeerthanaSelvaraju, both Final Year PharmD students from Gulf Medical University, conducted a Blood Pressure check-up at BinSina Pharmacy, Mall of the Emirates, to screen pharmacy customers and provide relevant advice and counseling.
Fathima proposed this project as a part of her Community Pharmacy rotation. This project was taken care of under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Abdel Al Ghaffar Doufish, Area Manager of BinSina Pharmacy and Dr. Dixon Thomas, Associate Dean Clinical and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice of Gulf Medical University. Fathima completed a one-month Community Pharmacy rotation at BinSina Pharmacy.
