A Digital Campaign Educating, Engaging, and Empowering for Health Equity
In celebration of International Universal Health Coverage Day (December 12, 2023), the GMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (GPSA) embarked on a virtual campaign, strategically designed to educate, engage, and empower the community on the principles of health equity.
The centerpiece of this initiative is a pair of impactful videos that simplify the complexities of Universal Health Coverage. With a clear and passionate narrative, these videos guide viewers through the goals, benefits, and collaborative efforts necessary for a healthier future. Beyond being informative, these visuals serve as a call to action, encouraging viewers to move beyond awareness and actively contribute to the pursuit of accessible healthcare for all.
Mohammad Majdoub, GPSA President shared, “Our virtual campaign is more than information dissemination; it’s a call for active participation. We are fostering a dynamic dialogue to inspire tangible contributions towards a future where healthcare is a shared right for all.”
