On the 20th of March 2023, GMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (GPSA) fundraising committee organized the second fundraising bake sale of the 2022-2023 mandate. It took place in the GMU foyer from 12 pm till 3 pm.
Throughout the three hours of the event all GMU students and faculty were invited to purchase from an assortment of baked goods, karak tea, or GPSA stickers. Moreover, to capture the spirit of the International Day of Happiness, posters of motivational quotes and happiness related quotes were displayed in the background of the bake sale. The money collected from this bake sale event will go to fund future activities done by GPSA such as Professional Development workshops for the students, Pharmacy Education competitions and Public health campaigns for the community.
