On Tuesday 14 November, GPSA-UAE, in collaboration with the College of Medicine, Nursing and Dentistry, organized a community outreach event to spread awareness on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. GPSA-UAE members presented posters related to hidden and added sugars, first aid for hypoglycemic episodes and different types of sweeteners. They also organized a variety of activities (ex: trivia wheel, connections, food label detectives) to be able to engage with the visitors and apply the information presented in practice. There were multiple participants, visitors and guests using it to take photos.
