GMU Pharmacy Students’ Association Expands Pharmacy Education Through Engaging Social Media Initiatives

To make pharmacy education more interactive and accessible, GMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (GPSA) has launched a new initiative on Instagram, to engage students and professionals alike. Through trivia challenges, interactive posts, and educational stories, GPSA aims to enhance learning in an engaging and fun manner.

This initiative focuses on:

  • Pharmacy Trivia: Regular quizzes to test and expand knowledge on pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare advancements.
  • Interactive Polls & Q&A Sessions: Encouraging participation from pharmacy students by allowing them to ask questions and receive expert responses.
  • Infographics & Case Studies: Providing visually engaging content on key pharmacy topics, patient care strategies, and new research developments.

Speaking on the initiative, Avelyne Jimenez, GPSA’s Media and Publications Officer, stated, “Our goal is to make learning more dynamic and engaging for pharmacy students. By using interactive content, we’re not just sharing information—we’re creating an active learning environment that encourages curiosity and deeper understanding.”

This initiative reflects GPSA’s commitment to modernizing pharmacy education and fostering an interactive learning environment for future healthcare professionals.
