College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University is proud to announce that Dr. Sahar Elnajjar has passed the Board Certified Nutrition Support Specialist (BCNSP) exam in the recently announced results of Spring 2021 Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certifications.

Dr. Sahar is an alumnus of College of Pharmacy Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy program (MCP) and is currently working at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Dubai. Her thesis resulted in a parenteral nutrition Scopus Indexed Journal publication:

Dr. Sahar joined GMU master’s in clinical pharmacy Advisory Committee in December 2020 serving on the GMU Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy Advisory Committee since December 2020.
The professional certification (BCNSP) reflects the commitment to the clinical practice that addresses the care of patients receiving specialized nutrition support and demonstrates the expertise in managing enteral (feeding tube) and parenteral (IV) nutrition. Sahar is now mentoring, building capacity and sharing knowledge in parenteral nutrition with students and junior pharmacists.
