On May 18th, 2021, a group of students from the Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development has received a training on Reverse Transcription Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-qPCR) as a part of their course on Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics.

The training session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Raefa Abou Khouzam, Assistant Professor and Research Scientist at Thumbay Research Institute for Precision Medicine (TRIPM).

The college of Pharmacy continuous to empower its internal collaborations and expand its graduate hands on training opportunities to strengthen its MDD program, adopt best practices and prepare graduates who will become full-fledged scientists serving human health wherever they are.
