Master in Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) students participated in a class by Dr. Kimberly McKeirnan on Pharmacy Practice Research. The session was held on March 15, 2022. Dr. McKeirnan is an Associate Professor, Pharmacotherapy & Director for the Center for Pharmacy Practice Research in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Washington State University, USA. This educational activity is part of the collaborative partnership between GMU and WSU.
Students had a chance to discuss with Dr. McKeirnan on three of her recent papers. The discussions were more about details of the methodology and how to perform similar research. Such classes in year 1 are helpful for GMU MCP students who are about to start their own research in year 2.
