The GMU-IVPN Student Club has successfully kicked off the new academic year by conducting a series of introductory sessions as an initiative aimed to familiarize all students belonging to the College of Pharmacy with the club’s goals along with a description of each committee’s roles.
The orientation sessions, led by the Executive Committee of the club, provided a thorough introduction to the IVPN, highlighting its vision to increase networking opportunities for pharmacy students as well as provide a platform for students to engage in extracurricular activities. The presentations detailed the past events conducted by the club, the executive committee members and their roles, and finally the main goals of the club.
Students from all the pharmacy programs were briefed on the unique benefits of joining the GMU-IVPN Student Club. These benefits include access to specialized workshops, valuable networking opportunities with professionals in the field, and a platform to participate in competitions while developing various interprofessional skills.
