On May 21, 2021, Dr. Dixon Thomas presented the GMU experience of Integrating an Interprofessional Education/Care System in UAE in Forbidden City International Pharmacist Conference – 2021. This year the presentation was online. Dr. Dixon visited Beijing, China in 2016 and 2017 to present different topics in the Forbidden City International Pharmacist Conferences.
Themed with “Reform and Innovation—Promoting the Development of Pharmaceutical Care”, the Forbidden City International Pharmacist Conference (2021) organized online and face-to-face events to discuss topics on pharmacy related policies and developments, pharmacist training and skill improvement, and innovation in pharmaceutical care models. International and domestic experts in related fields shared their insights and experience in this academic gathering for pharmacists and other health professionals.
