The Middle East Heart Failure Conference is an annual event that gathers medical, pharmacy, and nursing professionals from all around the Gulf region to familiarize the attendees with the latest cardiovascular clinical and technological advancements used to improve healthcare outcomes in patients with heart failure. It covers a variety of topics including the latest updates in heart failure medical management, real cases from the Heart Failure Clinic, and much more. This year, it was held in Raffles Hotel in Dubai, UAE. During the 3 days, January 26-28, 2024, more than 40 speakers shared their expertise and the latest updates across the diverse topics related to heart failure. This event also included, like each year, a cardiology workshop for specifically targeting pharmacists to discuss different aspects of Heart Failure as they relate to pharmacists. Experts shared guideline recommendations for managing patients with different cardiovascular conditions using a case-based approach. Presentations by these experts included interactive audio responses to make the session interactive and more relevant to clinical practice.
