On Thursday, May 1, students and professionals gathered for a compelling session titled “Transplant & Immunity,” held at Thumbay University Hospital. The event was hosted as part of an ongoing initiative to enhance clinical knowledge within the healthcare community.

The session was delivered by Mr. Mohamed Soliman, a distinguished public health and medical affairs expert with global experience in transplantation and pharmaceutical medicine. Also, Mr. Mohamad is a current, 2nd year student at the Postgraduate PharmD With a focus on the immunological complexities surrounding organ transplantation, Mr. Soliman provided a strategic overview of real-world challenges, and case-based insights from across diverse healthcare systems.

The event began with a dynamic presentation that covered key immunological mechanisms, barriers to successful transplantation, and the importance of balancing immune response and therapeutic innovation.
