GMU College of Pharmacy Launches the First Pharmacy Students’ Association in Ajman

On October 28, 2021, the first pharmacy students’ association in Ajman, GMU Pharmacy Students’ Association (GPSA), was launched on GMU campus during the annual pharmacy coffee and cake celebration event.

GPSA is an organization representing all pharmacy students from GMU which aims to empower, connect, and lead future pharmacists and prepare them to be fully competent healthcare professionals and decision makers. GPSA is planning to become a member association in IPSF (International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation) – www.ipsf.org, the largest pharmacy students’ representative federation (~500,000 students around the world). Soon, GPSA will start its diverse activities that include competitions, WHO-recognized public health campaigns, research & journal clubs, management & leadership skills development, clinical skills events, and much more. The first executive board of GPSA, as displayed below, is composed of very active GMU pharmacy students coming from different years of the program.
