GMU College of Pharmacy is Exploring Collaborative Opportunities with Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia

On 30th January, 2024, The College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University (GMU) was honored to host Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Fadli (Dean, School of Pharmacy) for a visit aimed at exploring potential collaborative programs. Dr. Fadli’s visit marked a significant step towards fostering international partnerships and enhancing academic & research collaborations.

During his visit, Dr. Fadli engaged in fruitful discussions with faculty members and administrators at the College of Pharmacy, GMU. The focus of these discussions was on identifying and developing collaborative programs that would benefit both institutions and contribute to the global advancement of pharmacy education.

Among the various opportunities discussed, Dr. Fadli and the College of Pharmacy explored the potential for student exchange programs, allowing students from both institutions to gain valuable international exposure and enrich their academic experiences. Additionally, discussions included the SmartMed initiative, a platform for leveraging technology in pharmacy education, and the possibility of establishing twin-degree programs that could offer students a broader educational perspective.

The College of Pharmacy, GMU, is optimistic about the successful realization of these collaborative programs and anticipates a future marked by increased international engagement, research and academic excellence. The institution remains open to further partnerships that will benefit its students, faculty, and the global pharmaceutical community.
