The College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University has adopted the Virtual Reality (VR) platform as an innovative educational, hands-on practice tool used in Professional Skills Practical sessions. This platform helps students study various clinical cases on virtual patients, and perform examinations in real-time clinical settings to enhance communication, physical examination, and laboratory analysis interpretation skills. Throughout these sessions and the next medical modules in Professional Skills Labs, PROVEN Reality SimBios VR platform will be an integral part of the PharmD program hands-on training curriculum. Since VR is nowadays prevailaing the global industry, integrating it into the medical education has countless benefits on the students overall educational benefits.
