GMU College of Pharmacy Engages in AbbVie’s Career Fair, Bridging Academia and Industry

On Friday, June 9th, AbbVie organized a highly anticipated career fair, aimed at providing pharmacy students, alumni and professionals with invaluable opportunities to explore the dynamic world of the pharmaceutical industry. Held at the Ritz – Carlton Hotel in Dubai, the event witnessed young professionals eager to learn, connect, and kickstart their careers in the ever-evolving field of pharmacy.

AbbVie organized stalls with experts from various departments providing students and recent graduates with the chance to ask questions, receive guidance, and learn more about specific areas of interest.

Keerthana Selvaraju, a final year PharmD intern, expressed her excitement about the career fair, stating: “Attending AbbVie’s career fair was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to meet professionals in my field of interest, gain industry insights, and connect with potential employers. It motivated me even more to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry.”
