GMU College of Pharmacy and IVPN Network Launch the virtual Preparatory Course for Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) Exam

December 6, 2021 marked the official launch of the joint online preparatory course organized by GMU College of Pharmacy and IVPN-Network. Professor Sherief Khalifa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Vice Chancellor for Quality and Global Engagement, emphasized during his opening remarks on the importance of becoming board certified in advancing the pharmacy practice, the pharmacists role and their credibility as healthcare providers and drug therapy experts. Both Professor Khalifa and Dr. Tabbara, the founding president of IVPN-Network, celebrated the birth of this milestone project, the fruit of game-changing collaboration between Gulf Medical University, College of Pharmacy and IVPN-Network.

Dr. Tabbara also commented: “This promising course is enriched with the expertise of 12 experts who spent a considerable number of years in the clinical setting.” During this event, the course expectations are set with the participants with all the resources they need to start this 12-weeks enriching journey of becoming a competent and certified pharmacotherapy specialist.
