On April 07, 2021, Dr. Majid Ali, Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy, Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia, demonstrated the use of MyDispense in Pharmacy Education. This is a regional version of customizable MyDispense software. MyDispense is an online pharmacy simulation that allows students to develop and practice their dispensing skills. It provides a safe environment in which they may make mistakes without experiencing the serious consequences of practicing in the real world. MyDispense is developed by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University.
Vice Chancellor for Quality and Global Engagement and Dean College of Pharmacy Prof. Sherief Khalifa commented: “The use of such innovative technologies provides a useful tool in pharmacy education. It is also a good step towards preparing our students for digital healthcare”.
