On April 13, 2021, Prof. David Holdford of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) presented his ongoing research on the indirect cost of sickle cell disease to GMU Master in Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) year-1 students. The research presentation included minute details of how it was conducted and what to take care of when similar research is performed.

On April 27, 2021, Prof. Holdford presented another session to the GMU MCP year-2 students undergoing their rotation on Innovations in Pharmacy Practice. Innovations happening in the American pharmacy practice were discussed.
