College of Pharmacy Students Contribute to the Second International Conference for Pharmacy Students at University of Sharjah

The COP participated in the Second International Conference for Pharmacy Students which was held between April 8 and 9, 2025 in University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This is the second annual pharmacy students conference under the slogan “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Pharmacy”. The conference aims to educate the students about the latest innovation, enriching student’s knowledge about the future of pharmacy in the country, and highlighting the clinical pharmacy in United Arab Emirates. Students at the College of Pharmacy (COP)at Gulf Medical University participated in this conference through all the competitions including Patient Counseling Competition, Awareness Video Competition, Team based Competition, Best Innovative Project, and Pharma Influencers. Furthermore, Master in Clinical Pharmacy, Master in Drug Discovery and Development and PharmD students at the COP under the faculty supervision presented their research and thesis projects through an active engagement in student poster sessions.

In this conference, Dr. Diana Malaeb from the COP was honored to receive an appreciation due to her contribution and efforts in orienting, guiding, and advising the students through their participation in the competitions.
