College of Pharmacy Preceptor achieves Clinical Pharmacist title with MOHAP

Dr. Abir Alazi, GMU College of Pharmacy PharmD graduate has been as a preceptor with the College for more than 2 years and is also serving as a licensed pharmacist with Thumbay University Hospital (TUH).

On December 13, 2023, Dr. Abir successfully passed the Clinical Pharmacy License Exam conducted by the Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOHAP), UAE. This is an important milestone for Dr. Abir that will for sure reflect on better care for her patients at TUH and on her students she precepts for Gulf Medical University (GMU).

Dr. Abir expressed her gratitude to the college and to her colleagues who supported her throughout this journey: “Obtaining a Clinical Pharmacy License is not just a personal achievement but a commitment to the well-being of the community.
