Ms. Hadil Rabaah and Ms. Marium Ansari from College of Pharmacy Participated at the 9th International Conference of Pharmacy And Medicine

On February 20 to 22, 2024, the Master of Drug Discovery and Development candidates in the College of Pharmacy participated in the 9th International Conference of Pharmacy and Medicine (ICPM 2024).

Ms. Hadil Rabaah and Ms. Marium Ansari, supervised by Dr. Muhammed Abdullatif, Associate Professor of Pharmacology, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, showcased their research through engaging poster presentations. The conference served as a global platform for the exchange of ideas and advancements in the fields of pharmacy and medicine.

Ms. Hadil Rabaah’s research involves in-vivo studies on rats, exploring new therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer’s disease. Ms. Hadeel is co-supervised by Dr. Areeg Anwer Ali, Professor of Pharmacology, RAK Medical & Health Sciences University.

Ms. Marium Ansari’s study involves repurposing of existing medications as a therapeutic modality for Huntington’s disease experimentally induced in rats. Ms. Marium is co-supervised by Dr. Hanan Anbar, Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacotherapeutics, Dubai Pharmacy College.
