As part of the College of Pharmacy mission promoting social and Professional Accountability. College of Pharmacy engage with around 90 students from grade 11 and 12 at Al Arqam private school in career advising session.


Dr. Eman El-labbad, Assistant dean of Assessment and Evaluation presented career talk “Rx Pharmacy Career 101 “. During the session, Dr. El-labbad explained the career development cycle and the important role of mentor in personal and professional development of students. This was followed by discussion on different roles and responsibilities of the pharmacist in the healthcare system.

At the end of the session, Dr. El-labbad shared with students insights on Pharmacy students life, and clarified some of students doubts regarding application process to universities and admission requirements. Dr. Eman El-Labbad commented “It was great pleasure to engage with growing minds of future leaders, support in early steps towards self–awareness and professional developments. It is part of our accountability to our society and to pharmacy profession“.
