College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, hosted a career counselling interactive session titled: “Mastering the Interview: AbbVie Experts’ Insights”.
On Thursday, June 15th AbbVie team delivered a workshop aimed at empowering students and alumni with essential tips to excel in interviews, marking the third installment in their impactful career counseling series.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Marina Elisha Bekheet, Talent Acquisition Manager for the Middle East & Africa, and Ms. Mariyam Siddiqui, Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Middle East & Africa.
The session provided students with a comprehensive overview of interview best practices. Participants were trained on effective communication, confident body language, conducting company research, and delivering impactful responses to common interview questions.
The session went beyond theoretical advice by incorporating engaging role plays and interactive activities. Participants had the opportunity to put their newly acquired skills into practice through mock interview scenarios and simulating real-life situations.
