On Sunday, June 13th, 2021 at 4:00 pm, the CON organized a Faculty Development Virtual Webinar on ‘’UAE: Language, Culture, Customs, and Etiquette’’. An interactive and informative session was conducted by Ms. Zayana Malik Al-Kindi, Senior Staff Nurse- Al Barsha Vaccination Centre, Dubai, highlighting the traditional customs and cultures of the UAE. The session was well appreciated by the Faculty.
The session was extremely beneficial and brought insight on various aspects of the UAE’s Customs, Culture, Religious convictions, Dress code, Etiquette, Rituals during the Holy month of Ramadan, Public holidays, Norms in meeting the health care of local citizens etc.
