The College of Nursing Faculty and students got an excellent opportunity to attend apost conference workshop on April 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM under the heading ‘Ethical dilemmas- A case study approach to engage the medical and biomedical students and early career researchers.
The session was successfully conducted by Dr. S DSivaSubramaniam, Head of Biomedical and Forensic Sciences, Universityof Derby, UK. The workshop was organized on a virtual platform.
The workshop consisted of 5 case studies on a real-life scenario related to ethical dilemma in decision making at health care settings. It was done with poll questions followed by discussion after each case study. The Question and Answer session was interactive and provided a platform for every young participant to discuss and share their opinion on the illustrated ethical dilemma cases. It was indeed an enriching and thought provokinglearning experience for everyone who interacted. The faculty kept the attention of the participants fully involved and think critically with sound ethics.
