Clean Hands, Healthy Lives: Hand Hygiene Day 2024

On March 30, 2024, Thumbay Builders witnessed a transformative event focused on workplace wellness and hygiene education, marked by the celebration of Hand Hygiene Day. Hosted within the esteemed premises of Gulf Medical University, the event was meticulously organized by College of Medicine and College of Nursing, with a bustling attendance of Thumbay Builders staff, the day kicked off with an illuminating presentation led by the College of Medicine. Attendees were enlightened about the critical importance of hand hygiene, gaining insight into the lurking germs that habitually reside on hands, and invaluable tips on how to uphold impeccable hand hygiene practices in their daily lives.

First-year students from the College of Nursing demonstrated the hand hygiene steps. This was an instructive presentation, accompanied by several shades of vibrant paint and gloves. This interactive session ensured practical understanding in addition to clarifying the academic parts, which increased the educational endeavor’s effectiveness.

As a symbol of their dedication, participants enthusiastically participated in the “My Pledge Towards Clean Hands” Hand Hygiene Pledge Board activity.
