College of Medicine, MBBS Program organized a ‘Career Advising Session’ titled “My Journey through USMLE” on November 15th 2020 at GMU campus. Dr. Mariam Hassan, GMU Alumna who has successfully cleared all four components of the USMLE, shared her experience and learning strategies with the students.
Medical students of preclinical and clinical years attended the session. It was also broadcast simultaneously as a webinar allowing students of year 5 training in the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi to join in. The session was very interactive with students asking several questions and clarifying doubts both face to face and online. Students gained a lot of information from this session and their feedback on the session was excellent.
