The College of Medicine organized an online interactive session with Dr. Ishaque Sayeed Mohammad on February 21st, 2021, which was attended by students of the MBBS, ADPCS and the BBMS programs. Dr. Ishaque spoke to the students about his decision to opt for MScP, his experiences of doing masters in GMU and his journey towards PhD in the United Kingdom. He gave the students an insight into his speciality and briefly explained his thesis topic. This was followed by a very interactive question and answer session where he clarified the students’ doubts and gave them some sound advice about pursuing PhD. The session was extremely informative and interesting for the students. There were 81 participants and feedback conducted showed that 91.3% students found the session to be useful and impactful for their career development. Based on the feedback from the students a session on PLAB would be arranged shortly.
