The White Coat Ceremony 2024 was held on 26th September 2024, to welcome the incoming freshman class of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students. This event signifies the initiation of each student into the esteemed Nursing Profession.
Dr. Thumaby Moideen, President of Thumbay Group, Prof. Hossam Hamdy, Chancellor, Prof. Manada Vankataramana, Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Selva Titus Chacko, Dean, extended their well-wishes by participating in the event.
Ms. ANN ELIZABETH JINS (2024NS30) and Mr. AHMAD LUQMAN AL SHEHHI (2024NS37) received their white coats from the Honorable President, Dr. Thumbay Moideen on behalf of the 1st Year BSN students. The students donned their White coats which marked their induction to the Nursing profession, and they took the Oath together which reminded about their duty to serve mankind.
The program was live-streamed on GMU’s YouTube channel for parents and families. It was a proud moment for Gulf Medical University, students, and parents.
